Steph & Darren's Wedding Website

Darren and Steph’s love story began in Austin, Texas, on what Darren likes to call a “dating app.” Though if we’re being honest, it was really just Instagram. (But hey, every app can be a dating app if you try hard enough, right?)

Those casual Instagram conversations didn’t exactly set the world on fire, but fate had other plans. Enter Tinder… Cough cough… the actual dating app… which rekindled the spark that led to their first official date. Darren quickly fell head over heels for Steph… even though she tried to end things with him at a local coffee shop. Plot twist: they’re sitting in that very same coffee shop right now, six years later, creating this wedding website together. Talk about a full circle!

Their love blossomed over countless coffee dates (clearly their thing), gym sessions, and travel adventures that created memories they’ll treasure forever.

After six amazing years together, Darren decided it was time to pop the question (after some not-so-subtle hints from Steph and her family) during a trip to Switzerland. Because this is Darren we’re talking about, things we’re cut a little too close for comfort. The engagement ring arrived literally moments before they left for the airport, and if that wasn’t enough, they learned at the airport that Darren’s passport was set to expire exactly three months after their return preventing them from boarding the plane (who knew this was a rule!). They were mere seconds away from missing their entire trip!

Thankfully, some angel airline staff swooped in to save the day (and the surprise proposal), rebooking their return flight to narrowly make the passport expiration cutoff. Switzerland was beautiful, the proposal was perfect, and somehow they managed to pull off the trip of a lifetime despite the initial chaos. Steph had no idea and is still embarrassed to show off the proposal video due to her unfortunate choice of shoes that day.

We’re pretty sure this perfectly sums up their relationship… a little chaotic, a lot of love, and always an adventure worth taking together.
